The Technics SL-1200MK4 was released only in Japan in a very limited edition.
Specially made for the audiophile, the special thing about the MK4 is that it has a 78 RPM function and is a pure HiFi turntable, which makes the MK4 very rare and unique!
The appearance is just like the SL1210 Black, but the MK4 features gold details, a smokey dust cover, and titanium-colored feet. The brushed titanium tonearm contains high-end tonearm cabling with a direct connection to the RCA terminal, making it not only look super sleek but also very easy to swap out RCA cables of your choice!
The color scheme and printing of the MK4 are unmatched by any other Technics turntable.
The MK4 features gold-plated RCA connections at the bottom (see photos), including a gold-plated ground connection that is directly connected to the tonearm wiring. No SL-1200 from the Legend Series (pre-2010) has this!
The turntable works properly and the external condition is very neat, apart from a few scratches and spots, see photos.
The turntable comes with the following accessories: the original titanium-colored headshell with an extra 4-gram weight, an additional auxiliary weight, the ground cable, the original RCA cables, and the original manual!
