Description from the seller
Very beautiful French oak 3-drawer chest of drawers or commode.
No cracks in the paneled sides, with decorative carvings. Solid oak top, beautiful wax patina, good quality. Drawers operate smoothly, and the drawer bottoms are also from the same period. Laid from front to back. The drawer fronts, of course, with dovetail joints.
Elegant Louis XV legs, also with good craftsmanship, although worn.
One brass handle (top drawer left) was cast later in the 18th century. The other five are original from the period and were originally part of this piece of furniture.
France ca. 1755-1770

H = 99 cm.
B = 123 - 130 cm. (smallest - biggest)
