Large annulated cylindrical bottle in translucent bluish‑green glass from the Roman Empire, dating to the 1st–2nd century AD, 177 mm high, 183 mm wide, 183 mm deep, in good condition.
Description from the seller
Cylindrical bottle with a frosted finish, made of bluish-green translucent glass.
A stocky cylindrical body, rounded shoulder, and slightly conical wall, with a smooth curved bottom and no pontil mark.
A very short cylindrical neck, a flared mouth with a rounded lip and a collar formed by folding the wall downward, then upward. Large curved ribbon handle with multiple ribs connecting the shoulder to the collar. On the body of the vessel, the presence of fine circular incisions ground at multiple levels, with partial earthy deposits.
These glasses were generally used for storing provisions.
Roman Empire, possibly in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Condition: Good, cracks running along the body but stabilized, a repair at the lip area as well as a few tension cracks, otherwise complete.
