Receipt for M. Barthlomie, member of the 5th Company of the National Guard, regarding the return of his weapons. This was issued shortly after the uprising of June 5-6, 1832, which was immortalized in Victor Hugo's "Les Misérables." Following the uprising, many members of the National Guard were forced to surrender their weapons. This is a rare document from the municipal administration of the July Monarchy under the reign of Louis-Philippe.
