Erase and polarization oscillator module for Revox G36 – Original (1960s)

Original plate corresponding to the Revox G36 valve tape recorder, manufactured by Studer in Switzerland during the 1960s.

It concerns the high-frequency erase and bias oscillator module, responsible for generating the polarization and erase signals for the recording and erasing heads of the equipment.

The assembly retains all its original components: 0.47 µF / 400 V polyester capacitors, precision resistors, a ferrite coil, and a valve mounted in its metal socket. On the underside, the factory reference 1.636.680-01, specific to this version of the G36, is indicated.

A representative example of Swiss electronic engineering from the 1960s, both for its modular design and the quality of the materials used.
