Description from the seller
Large Spinosaurus Tooth – Cretaceous Period – Kem Kem Beds, Morocco
An impressive Spinosaurus tooth from the Kem Kem Formation of Morocco, dating to the Late Cretaceous, about 95 million years ago. The basal portion is original and shows excellent preservation with rich brown and ochre tones, while the upper section has been carefully consolidated beneath the tip to stabilize the specimen.
The enamel is well preserved, displaying a natural glossy surface with fine longitudinal striations typical of Spinosaurus teeth. Its slightly curved profile and robust proportions reflect the predatory adaptation of one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs ever to exist.
A striking fossil that combines authenticity with professional preparation, making it a valuable addition for collectors and an evocative reminder of the semi-aquatic giant that once dominated the rivers of North Africa.
