Name: Ceratites postspinosus
Age: Trias, Muschelkalk
Provenance: Villingen-Schwenningen, France
The ammonite itself has a diameter of 15.5 cm. The specimen weighs 908 gr. Note the beautiful lines of sutures and the presence of the living chamber.
It is one of the less common Ceratites species.
The stand is not included.
