AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Beautiful suspension designed by Ingo Maurer, the well-known entrepreneur, recently deceased, and designer of the famous German company of the same name.
All the lamps made by this Master are wonderful, the fisherman's tears are among the most appreciated for their originality; he drew inspiration for its creation from a trip to Venice, he himself recounted, "35 years ago, on the waters of the Venice Lagoon, I admired the fishermen's nets covered with countless drops of water. Observing the reflections in the morning sunlight, they seemed to me to be the fisherman's tears."
The lamp is made up of 3 nylon nets of different sizes, 385 crystals, all illuminated with a bulb, Ø 11 cm, which is fixed separately to the wall.
Thanks to the light projected onto the composition, the environment fills with reflections reminiscent of water drops. It is marvelous how Ingo Maurer manages to evoke the same emotions he experienced during his journey in all the people who admire this extraordinary lamp today.
