A Sterling Silver cast pair of 18th Century style two-light candelabra, having stepped style bodies with removable arms with a central finial.

Provenance:
Presented by Prince Axel of Denmark (1888-1964) and his wife Princess Margaretha of Sweden (1899-1977) to their grandson Birger Valdemar Georg Flemming Kai Axel, Count of Rosenborg, on the occasion of his confirmation.
It was a family tradition of the Prince and Princess to present their grandchildren with a pair of silver candlesticks on their confirmation.

Made in Denmark between 1964 - 2009.
