This Cahiers d'Art, one of the most sought-after 20th-century editions, in good condition (some light traces of foxing), is published under the direction of G. di San Lazzaro and printed by Mourlot.
This 20th-century edition includes articles on Chagall (this copy is incomplete, lacking the Chagall lithograph), Vasarely, Gilioli, Soulages, Magnelli, Manessier, Crippa, Rothko, and many others. A total of 20 four-color prints of the aforementioned painters are included. The text is in French, with annotations on a blank page.
An original lithograph printed for the 20th century by Pierre Soulages (photos 2, 8 and 9) and Marc Chagall (photos 3, 10 and 11) are present.
