volume two of two volume set, provides a concise view of the history, literature, and myths surrounding Freemasonry. Comprehensive explanations are included of their secret rituals and symbolism, such as alchemy, astrology, Kabbalism, ceremonial magic, and animal magnetism.
The volume is illustrated with frontispieces, 16 full-page plates, and other illustrations. Published by Rider & Co., London, 1923. Publishers’ original half leather dark red spines with red boards, gilt Masonic symbols and gilt lettering on upper cover and spine.

Condition
Firm and well-bound copy. External covers in nice shape, with minor marks and wear to the leather of the covers but the gilt titles remain bright. Internally; in very good condition. No names or inscriptions. The binding is in scarcely found condition holding fairly tight with no missing or loose pages. Pages are clean with light toning to the first and last blank free endpaper pages only. All illustrations are present, and in nice condition (Please see pictures).
