AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Rare Sea Lily Fossil - Very detailed Specimen item.
On stand.

Sea lilies belong to the Crinoidea and are echinoderms sea creatures. Despite the fact that the name suggests that it is a plant, sea lilies are indeed animals. Sea lilies still exist and have lived on Earth for about 500 million years. They are therefore considered living fossils. The plate was found in Morocco and coloured to bring out the lily. There may also be minor restorations.
Organic glass stand included.
