A Japanese edition of the notorious bestseller “SEX by Madonna,” which reportedly sold 150,000 copies on day one. The aluminum covers, spiral binding, and the included CD capture the audacity and energy of its 1992 release.
Photography is by Steven Meisel with art direction by Fabien Baron. In the lineage of Guy Bourdin and Helmut Newton, the book features cameo appearances by Naomi Campbell and Isabella Rossellini. The design pairs aluminum boards and spiral binding with a silver package and the single CD “Erotic.”
This copy is the Japanese edition published by Dōbōsha (Kadokawa/Dōbōsha) in 1992, and the domestic issue is known to include minor alterations. Copies retaining the scarce bonus CD are less common and make a striking centerpiece for any collection. Format: approx. 35 × 30 cm.

One faint scratch to the aluminum front cover; otherwise generally very good. The spiral binding is firm, and the interior pages are clean with no writing or tears. The original “Erotic” CD is present in its sleeve (see photos). Please review the images for the condition of the exterior and all inclusions.
