Brand Porst, Model/Type Color Reflex MC Auto 1,2/55mm, Functional condition tested and working.
Description from the seller
Very beautiful early version of the Porst Color Reflex MC Auto f1.2/55mm lens with Pentax PK bayonet mount.
The lens number is: 002440 and refers to a first or second batch, which means that this lens is an extremely early edition.
Lens series number: 002440
Production year 1970
Porst was founded in 1919 and was a distributor of multiple camera brands, including their own brand HaPo (HAnns POrst). In 1996, Porst AG was the largest German retailer of photographic equipment.
In 1996, the company was taken over by the Belgian 'Spector Photo Group'.
Maar Porst was not a lens manufacturer, and this Porst f1.2/55mm was made by Tomioka Kagaku, also known as Yashica. And indeed, we all know the legendary quality of Yashica lenses.
In other words, Yashica is the maker of this extremely great super fast f1.2/55mm lens.
At full aperture, this lens delivers a dreamy, almost ethereal image with halo-like transitions and beautiful bokeh.
All functions also work very excellently. Buttery smooth autofocus, and the aperture clicks flawlessly from f1.2 to f22.
All glass parts are impeccable and spotless, with no scratches or cleaning marks, no haze, and no mold inside.
The lens leaves minimal user traces. Look at the photos; they are also part of the description.
It adds value to any camera collection, but is also a fantastic lens for shooting again in analog or digital (via adapter on mirrorless cameras / not included).
Included are a nice Cozo 1A 55mm UV filter and two lens caps (not original Porst).
I set a realistic minimum price because I don't want this beautiful lens to be sold for the price of an apple and an egg.
Will be shipped with a Track & Trace number and insurance.
NOTE:
I always ship my goods with T & T and insurance to cover accidental damages and theft.
Please note that shipping costs may be slightly more expensive.
Anyone who cannot agree with this is also kindly asked not to place any bids.
Thank you in advance.
