Beautiful coin tray or presentation tray, made for the 1931 Paris Colonial Exhibition.
In bronze patina art casting, mounted on a Portor marble base.
He represents a Mursi tribe chief (an Ethiopian ethnic group) presenting his lip plate. He displays scarifications on his cheeks.
Rare and superbly executed work, in good condition for its age, with a few rare oxidations on the patina. Bust signed on the shoulder.
