This Audio Desk System device is a simple turntable specifically designed to chamfer the reading surface of a CD or DVD. It is equipped with a belt-driven turntable on which the disc is mounted. Thanks to a specially mounted cutting tool, the turntable chamfers the edge at a 45-degree angle. This tool also ensures perfect concentricity of the disc, thereby reducing potential vibrations that a decentered disc could cause during playback.

The operation is simple and quick: about twenty seconds. Then, just mark the edge with a permanent marker.
Sound improvement is directly related to the concentricity of the disc but also to the laser beam, which is no longer diffused on the edge.
It's quite impressive when testing two CDs at the same time, one beveled and the other original.
