Group of Four Ancient Egyptian, Late Period Faience and Stone Protective Amulets
Circa 664-332 BC
This fascinating group of four amulets includes: a blue-green faience aegis of the lion-headed goddess Sekhmet with rounded outline and suspension hole; an openwork turquoise faience plaque formed as a quadruple wedjat eye arranged around a central aperture; and two wedjat eye amulets, one in faience, the other in lapis lazuli.
Dimensions: 4 IN 1 SET UP TO 1,5cm x 1cm x 0,3g
Provenance: Private European Collection; formerly acquired from old UK and European collection formed since the 1970s.
