On the front, the bust of Pope Pius XII is depicted, facing right; along the sides, following the contour, is the circular inscription 'PIVS • XII P • M • AN •', followed by the year of pontificate, expressed in Roman numerals. At the bottom, the artist's signature 'GIAMPAOLI' is visible (curved, adjacent to the contour). On the reverse, at the center of the coin, the papal coat of arms is depicted, while at the top, near the edge, there is an arched inscription '• CITTÀ DEL VATICANO •'. At the bottom, below the coat of arms, the mint year is noted, with the artist's signature 'GIAMPAOLI' underneath (curved, adjacent to the contour).
