AGIP - Ashtray - Earthenware

Vintage ashtray manufactured by AGIP.
Made in Italy. Material: glazed earthenware.
White color, with the Agip logo in black and red on the front.
On the reverse side, the phrase can be read: "Six-legged dog, faithful friend of the four-wheeled man."
The author of the famous logo was Luigi Broggini and it was redefined by Giuseppe Guzzi.
The official interpretation, given by Eni's Press Office in the 1950s, explains the six legs of the fantastic animal as the sum of the car's four wheels plus the driver's two legs. It symbolizes the symbiosis between the car and the driver.
Item in very good condition, shows no signs of previous use.
115mm in diameter and 20mm in height.
