Description from the seller

A beautiful and well-preserved Viking bronze ring featuring a rhomboid-shaped bezel intricately engraved with a geometric pattern incorporating the Gebo (ᚷ) rune — the symbol of gift, union, and harmony in Norse belief.

Culture/Period: Viking Age, 9th–10th century AD
Material: Bronze
Dimensions: 21 mm (internal diameter)
Weight: 3.85 g

The Gebo rune, representing exchange, love, and connection, was often worn as a token of mutual loyalty or given as a bond between partners or kin. The engraved rhomboid bezel, bordered by delicate dotted panels, adds both visual strength and symbolic depth to the design.

This ring likely served as a personal amulet, invoking the blessings of balance, generosity, and unity — timeless values of Viking life.
Its dark bronze patina and worn inner band testify to genuine age and wear, giving the piece a powerful sense of history and authenticity.

Condition: Very fine; light wear consistent with age; strong patina; clear geometric engraving.
