This incredible blue onyx bowl was carved from a high-quality boulder brought down from the high Andes of Argentina. It is the perfection of the stone combined with perfect craftsmanship. Since there is only a small vein of this unusual natural blue onyx and most of the 'mining' involves collecting boulders near the surface, this unique bowl is truly 'one of a kind.' It features an unusual aquamarine blue color with intricate veins. This exotic piece is extremely large for an onyx sculpture and is very finely worked; the special piece has the property of transparency, so backlighting can make it literally glow when properly illuminated.
