Louis XVI style commode with mahogany veneer over oak, circa 1800.

Heavy-made mahogany commode, 3-drawer cabinet. Louis XVI style, with gilded brass fittings, inlaid brass borders, and quarter-round brass trim.
The blind wood is oak wood with thick mahogany veneer.
Tapping Louis XVI style leg (inlaid brass trim!!) and overhanged inlaid side styles.
All slots with a brass cover plate, with cast ring fittings on both sides.
Entirely supported by four tall, tapered legs, also decorated with brass cups.
Bianca Carrara marble covered.
Completely in very good condition and ready to use immediately.
France in the early 19th century.

Afm:
H = 89 cm.
B = 130 - 132 cm. (smallest - biggest)
D= 58 - 59 cm. (deepest-deepest)

Recently thoroughly inspected for loose parts of construction and veneer. No live woodworm found on 11/27/2025.
