Oskar Zięta
Diploma at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the Szczecin University of Technology (now the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin), 2000.
Scholarship from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology ETH in Zurich, 2000 - 2001. Since 2003, research assistant at the Faculty of Architecture, at the CAAD (Computer Aided Architectural Design) ETH Chair. In 2011, he obtained a doctoral degree at this university.
Since 2013, a lecturer at the Department of Design at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, School of Form, in Poznań.
Founder and president of Zieta Prozessdesign, 2010.
One of the most outstanding and recognized Polish designers. Technologist and inventor, creator of FiDU - an innovative technique of spatial modeling of sheet metal using compressed air or water. He uses it in designing effective furniture and other interior fittings, as well as large-scale sculptures, including: NAWA - Dali Island, Ostrów Tumski, Wrocław, WIR - Galeria Północna, Warsaw. The 2008 Plopp stool designed by him is included in the permanent collection of the Pompidou Center in Paris as one of the twelve chairs that have revolutionized contemporary design.
Winner of numerous awards, including: Design Prize Switzerland, 2008; Red Dot Design Award, 2008; Good Design, 2009; Materialica Design Award, 2009; Award of the German Design Council, 2009; Audi Mentor Prize by A&W, 2011.
