Description from the seller

This camera is a 35mm film rangefinder that was released in 1972. Despite being priced roughly the same as a starting salary for a university graduate in Japan at the time, it sold 1.2 million units and remained in production for about 12 years, making it a very popular camera.

It became popular because it featured a shutter-priority auto mode, which made it easy for even beginners to take good photos.

Since this model was not designed for professional use, most units now found on the used market are non-functional due to poor storage conditions. However, this particular camera has been well preserved—its exterior is clean, and both the lens and the viewfinder remain in good condition.
