This beautiful 1 Oz Silver coin is the first issue of the “Interkosmos” series, dedicated to the first human in the space, Jurij Gagarin with the Vostok 1. The coin has a wonderful Space Red coloring, has a yellow Gold coloring and a finish of Palladium and Ruthenium. It comes in a case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage to 607 pcs worldwide. The reverse of the coin depicts Yuri Gagarin in the guise of astronaut, on the back the departure of a shuttle and the planet Earth. Around the reverse, the inscription: "Гагарин - первыйчеловквкосмосе" – Gagarin - the first man in space, the name of the coin in Russian. The obverse depicts the State Emblem of the Soviet Union and the inscriptions: “10 побед” – means 10 victories, “CCCP”, “1 Oz AG 999.9” – the weight of the coin and the fineness of the Silver.
