Bing Guide / Station Signal (ca. 1903–1910)
Dimensions: approx. 21 cm high x 17.5 cm wide.
Very early and rare Bing (Gebrüder Bing, Nuremberg) station signpost from around 1903–1910, fully made of tin and featuring a scalloped red roof, narrow cast-iron foot, and a series of rare hinged place-name boards such as Berlin, Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Dresden, Leipzig.
The boards are individually rotatable and attached to the original metal hanging system. At the back, the metal remnants of the mechanical indicators are still hanging. The entire assembly is mounted on a heavy enameled metal base plate.
