Set Märklin reversing switches (large and small) dating from ca. 1920–1940, four items, without original packaging, in good condition.

Set Märklin reverse switches (large & small) – circa 1920–1940
Set of 5 original Märklin metal reversing switches, consisting of three large and two small switches. This type was used for changing the direction of travel and controlling electrical accessories on early gauge 0 track layouts.
The switches are made of black lacquered metal, with a red or black handle, and feature the typical mechanical cross construction of Märklin at the underside. The larger models bear the model numbers 496 and 13376, with the imprint Märklin – Made in Germany. The smaller models are equipped with the early Märklin stamp with a symbol.
