Description from the seller
If you're looking for a very beautiful and almost undamaged one, this is your chance.
Really almost in new condition despite its age of nearly 60 years, this radio is also equipped with the original FM stereo decoder, so stereo broadcasts are also displayed. At the time this radio was built, that was an option because stereo broadcasts were not available everywhere in Europe.
The radio has been fully restored, and everything that was not functioning properly or was defective has been replaced. After the restoration, the radio was recalibrated and extensively and thoroughly tested to prevent as many disappointments as possible.
The radio has a built-in stereo amplifier of 2x6W and produces a warm and beautiful sound.
I am a retired electronics technician/mechanic and I purely do it as a hobby, focusing on restoring and repairing HiFi equipment from that era. For me, good repairs are more important than how long they take. Buyers give me 100% positive feedback, and I want to keep it that way.
But you should realize that it's a 60-year-old device, and there will always be some signs of wear.
If you want to read more technical information about this radio, you can easily visit beoworld.org, where you will find information about almost all B&O devices.
After the auction, the device is very well and securely packaged and shipped insured.
