Set of 4 Roman bronze fibulae – 1st–3rd century AD – various models
Interesting set of four original Roman fibulae, each of a different type, ideal for the collector seeking variety.
Included models
1 x trumpet fibula (type Trumpet, 1st–2nd century) – recognizable by its funnel-shaped head and thickened arch.
1 x strongly curved bow fibula (type Knee/Arched Bow, 2nd–3rd century)
1 x spiral fibula / early crossbow variant (with a rolled wire head, 2nd–3rd century)
1 x classic bow fibula with long footrest (type Arched Bow, 2nd–3rd century)
All made of bronze and equipped with a natural, authentic patina. Original pins are missing or fragmentary, as is common with archaeological finds.
Period: circa 1st–3rd century AD
Condition: archaeological state, beautiful antique patina.
