Climb into the fantastic Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3245! This gigantic, rugged LEGO Technic 2-in-1 model is packed with authentic details and features. Switch on the included Power Functions L-motor and activate the modern pneumatic system (a novelty introduced in fall 2015) to control a wide range of fascinating new motorized functions. You can operate the highly versatile crane arm mechanism, open and close the gripping claw, extend the outriggers, or raise and lower the tipping bed. Two steerable front axles, the drive with a dual differential, and independent suspension give the model maximum agility. And the cab can be tipped to reveal the detailed 6-cylinder engine with moving pistons. Open the doors to the cab to access the detailed interior including the dashboard, blue seats, and a steering wheel with the Mercedes-Benz logo. This model impresses with meticulously reproduced details, a telescoping crane arm, four-sprung axles, dual tires on both rear axles, a fold-out tailgate, warning lights, and side mirrors. With its 2,793 pieces, it is also the largest LEGO Technic model ever produced. The authentic white-gray-black color scheme and the legendary three-pointed Mercedes star give this imposing model the finishing touch. The model also presents an additional challenge, as it can be converted into a robust Mercedes-Benz crane semi-trailer as well.
