Beautiful Kachina doll representing the Early Morning spirit (Talavai), messenger of dawn in the Pueblo tradition.
Carved in the Hopi style, this piece is the work of a Navajo craftsman bearing the name Yazzie, a renowned family of artists from the American Southwest.
The doll is entirely made of carved wood, hand-painted with vibrant acrylic pigments, and dressed with traditional elements: natural feathers, wool, leather, and decorated fabric.

The turquoise cylindrical mask, the red side panels adorned with white symbols, as well as the boots and the ritual cloth, take up the graphic codes of contemporary representations of Talavai.
Natural wood base, hand-signed: “EARLY MORNING – by Yazzie”.
