Grapefruit - Yoko Ono with an introduction by John Lennon. First Sphere 1971 edition. Ono's book blurred the lines between literature and conceptual art. Lennon later acknowledged that his song 'Imagine' was inspired by Ono's poems in the book, and in recognition of this, Ono was credited as the co-writer of the song by the National Music Publishers Association in June 2017. Grapefruit was originally published in Japan in 1964 and in the UK in 1970. With illustrations by John Lennon. Original orange pictorial wrappers lettered in black and white.
