Description from the seller

Rare Lakota/Cheyenne Tomahawk-pipe dating back to the early decades of the 20th century. Wooden handle with internal holes (they used red-hot knitting needles) decorated with brass bolts, telegraph wires and deerskin strips. At the end we find the bronze axe with the brazier on the opposite side probably of English or American manufacture. The handle has been restored with the original materials and style by the collector from whom I purchased it but both the wood (restored with chlorine and vegetable oils) and the blade are authentic. In the last photos you can see before the restoration and documented examples. Origin: Colorado, found on a farm near Durango. Weight 574g, length 57.3cm, length from brazier to the tip of the axe 20.9cm. Very rare item and for collectors.
It will be shipped with proper packaging and a tracking number.
