Description from the seller

Charming articulated figurine (with oscillating head and feet) made of porcelain from the mid-20th century (between 1930 and 1950).
German production, it is hand-painted using the technique of painting on and under enamel, which gives each piece a unique character.

Representing a young woman dressed in an 'Indian' (or inspired) gown decorated by hand. She has a magnificent expression.
She holds a small bow and an axe in her hands, and wears earrings, a colorful necklace, and feathered boots.

Under the dress, a marking can be seen: a stylized anchor and the letters “B S”, attributable to the company Albert Stahl & Co.
Albert Stahl was once the accountant of Ernst Bohne & Söhne. After World War II, the factory was nationalized by the East German government.

Magnificent artisan's work.
Beautiful decorative piece, quite rare, for porcelain enthusiasts, cabinet of curiosities collectors, or figurine collectors.

Height: ± 14.5 cm
Length: approximately 8 cm
Width: +- 6.5 cm
Weight: +- 150 g

It is in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear, shows no chips, and has not been restored.
