Vintage Sewing / Work Table with Drawer
Origin: Central Europe (most likely Germany or Austria)
Period: 1930s–1950s
This charming oval-shaped wooden sewing or work table comes with a front drawer, divided into compartments for storing small items such as threads, jewelry, or personal accessories. The piece features a raised edge on the tabletop to prevent objects from falling, as well as four elegantly curved legs in a simplified cabriole style.
• Materials: solid wood with veneer (likely beech or oak, with pine interior)
• Features: one front drawer with dividers, small round knobs (early plastic/bakelite)
