Le Château Rayas undoubtedly ranks among the greatest French wines, generally considered the best wine of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. This estate was established at the end of the 18th century by Albert Reynaud, and the vines were planted in the early 1920s.

As for the winemaking process, it is described as minimally interventionist, with an emphasis on staying as close to the fruit as possible. The wines age on the estate and are only marketed after several years.

The red of Château Rayas is renowned worldwide for its delicacy, depth, and aromas of red fruits, notably the unmistakable scent of crushed strawberry, along with its very fine tannin grain. As for the white, harvested at full maturity, it reveals great aromatic complexity and also remarkable aging potential.
