Description from the seller

Covered butter dish 'Côtes Plates A' – Luxval Val Saint Lambert – 1935 – Fluorescent crystal as well as two plates.

Very beautiful and rare butter dish with lid from the Art Deco service Luxval, model 'Côtes Plates A,' created in 1935 by Charles Graffart & René Delvenne.

Technique: pressed-molded crystal Luxval
- UV reaction: strong intense green fluorescence (uranium) – typical of the finest productions from 1935.
- Signature: a raised mark beneath the 'VAL SAINT LAMBERT' base.
- Diameter: 16 cm
- Height: 5 cm without lid – 12 cm with lid
Weight: 600 g
Decor: large flat vertical rays radiating, conical grip lid, slightly scalloped edge.

An object that is both useful and highly decorative: stunning on a breakfast table, in a candy jar, or simply as a small Art Deco piece that literally lights up under UV lamp.

Charming set of round dishes with a fluted edge, 'Côtes Plates A' model from the Art Deco Luxval service created in 1935 by Charles Graffart &
René Delvenne
- Technique: Luxval pressed-molded crystal (reacts very well under UV - beautiful typical green fluorescence from the 1930s)
Decor: broad, flat, radiating ribs, starry background, serrated edge.
The little one
- Diameter: 18.5 cm
- Height: 6.5 cm
Weight: 600 g

The great
- Diameter: 20 cm
Height: 7.5 cm
Weight: 750 g

Condition: good vintage used condition, with some very light traces and micro-scratches on the surface that are almost invisible to the naked eye (strictly due to age and use, nothing shocking).
No shine, no cracks, brilliance and fluorescence intact.
Ideal for a retro aperitif, as a catch-all or simply as a decorative Art Deco duo, with that little extra soul given by the traces of time.

Ultra-careful shipping via bpost (Belgium) – double packaging, reinforced protection, tracked and insured parcel.
Sold exactly as shown in the photos.
