Sony Digital Mavica MVC-FD88, tested and working.
Description from the seller
Very complete SONY digital Mavica FD88 with 3 SONY disks, external USB disk drive, wide-angle attachment lens, a new replacement battery, and an original SONY carrying case.
The Sony Digital Mavica FD88 was released in 1999 and uses a 1.4 MB floppy disc as storage medium, on which six JPEG photos can be stored. The advantage of the floppy disc as storage was that a file could easily be transferred to or saved on a PC. MAVICA stands for Magnetic Video Camera and can be considered a precursor to today's digital cameras that use the SD card for storage. FD stands for Floppy Disc. The FD88 features an built-in 8x zoom lens with a aperture of 1:2.8~3.0. Using the MENU button on the LCD screen, various settings can be adjusted. The camera is in excellent working condition, with some minor signs of use, which is normal for a 26-year-old camera (see photos).
The delivery includes: the digital Mavica MVC-FD88 - 1 SONY NP-F330 battery - 1 BATMAX battery (both lithium info) - Sony BCV615A charger - BOWER V37 filter - KENKO wide-angle lens 0.5x with lens caps + leather case - 3 SONY diskettes with 1 storage box - 1 USB external diskette drive - manual in Dutch and Italian - 1 SONY Mavica folder in 4 languages - carrying case.
