Description from the seller

Fossil slab with Triplomystus sp. and leaf – Upper Cretaceous, Gara Sbaa (Morocco)
Sheet dimensions: 22 × 14 × 2 cm
Length of the fish: about 4 cm.
Length of the leaf: about 4 cm.

Fossil slab from the Gara Sbaa area, in the Erfoud – Taouz basin, Morocco, containing a fish of the genus Triplomystus and a well-defined fossil leaf on the opposite side of the matrix.
The fossiliferous levels of this locality belong to the Upper Cretaceous (Cenomanian), one of the most well-known formations in Morocco for its abundance of fish and plant remains.

The Triplomystus shows good preservation of the overall shape and fins, while the leaf exhibits an elongated morphology with readable central veins. The matrix is stable, and there is no restoration or reconstruction present.

A decorative and educational piece that combines fauna and flora from the same geological level.

Tracked shipment and careful packing.

Note: I no longer ship to the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Buyers from these countries can still make offers, but they must provide a shipping address in another country.
