Description from the seller

Signed on front cover by Spencer Davis (1939-2020), one of the greatest 60's rock icons. Also signed by Pete York.

From a collection of a German collector who attented concerts and collected autographs himself for 50+ years. He also included notes on paper about when and where a signature was obtained.

Spencer Davis was a British musician best known as the founder of The Spencer Davis Group, which launched the career of a young Steve Winwood in the 1960s. The group became internationally known for its driving, soulful sound, delivering hits like Gimme Some Lovin’ and I’m a Man that defined the era. His role was vital in shaping the sound of 60s rock and R&B, helping bridge American blues influences with the emerging British rock scene.

Pete York is an English drummer who first gained fame as a founding member of The Spencer Davis Group in the 1960s. His tight, energetic drumming helped drive the band’s rhythm and blues sound on hits like Gimme Some Lovin’. After leaving the group, he built a long career as a versatile musician, moving into jazz, rock, and collaborations with artists such as Eric Clapton and Jon Lord.
