"Kishin Shinoyama (December 3, 1940 – January 4, 2024) was a Japanese photographer born in Yodobashi, Tokyo (now Kita-Shinjuku, Shinjuku City). He studied photography at Nihon University College of Art and Tokyo College of Photography, gaining recognition during his student years. He joined Light Publicity in 1961 after winning the APA Award, and in 1966 participated as the youngest artist in the “Ten Photographers” exhibition at the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo. His major works include Death Valley, Twins, and N●de, and he also photographed the cover of John Lennon’s album Double Fantasy. In 1991, his photobook Santa Fe, featuring Rie Miyazawa, became a bestseller and sparked a h●ir-n●de boom. He received the 68th Kikuchi Kan Prize in 2020 and passed away in Tokyo in 2024 due to natural causes.
Noticeable damage from age and use (such as scuffs, bent corners, or small tears) is present, but the item is complete and usable.
