Description from the seller
Collection of 2 analog cameras;
1 Altix-n (1958–1960) – Vintage DDR Camera with Removable Meyer-Optik Trioplan 50mm f/2.9 “Tempor” Lens.
2- Petri 7S – Rangefinder Camera with 45mm f/2.8 Lens (Circle-Eye System)
1 - Altix N- .This well-preserved Altix-n 35mm camera from the late 1950s–early 1960s comes equipped with the special Meyer-Optik Görlitz Trioplan 50mm f/2.9 lens, famous for its unique rendering and the characteristic “soap-bubble bokeh”.
The lens unit features the original “Tempor” shutter, clearly indicated on the lens itself.
The Trioplan is removable and uses the Altix bayonet mount.
Body condition: Good vintage condition with normal signs of use
Film compartment: Clean
Not film-tested
The camera is fully functional: the shutter fires correctly, the mechanics run smoothly, and the lens focuses and stops down as intended. The Trioplan optics are clean and clear, without notable scratches or fungus.
Please note: the front nameplate above the lens is missing. This is a cosmetic detail only and does not affect functionality.
A charming and working East-German classic with a clean and collectible Trioplan lens.
2 - Petri 7S (circa 1963–1967) – a classic Japanese 35mm rangefinder camera equipped with the iconic Circle-Eye selenium light metering system. This model is fitted with the Petri Orikkor 45mm f/2.8 lens, known for its sharp rendering and distinctive retro look.
The Petri 7S offers manual exposure control, a bright rangefinder window, and solid metal construction typical of Petri’s 1960s craftsmanship. The lens glass appears clear, the shutter fires, and the camera shows normal signs of age without major defects.
Light meter (selenium): Not tested / unverified
