Æ’s monochrome triptych reinterprets the Star Wars mythos through stark chiaroscuro and eroded mezzotint precision. The series unites three iconic figures — the Stormtrooper, Darth Vader, and C-3PO — as spectral emblems of power, order, and consciousness. Stripped of color and narrative, their metallic visages become symbols of duality: obedience and rebellion, light and shadow, creation and control. A meditation on machinery and myth, “Galactic Shadows” transforms cinematic icons into timeless archetypes carved in the language of light and void.

Æ2381 is a contemporary artist and designer (Bachelor’s in Digital Design and Multimedia Technologies, Barcelona 2004 + Bachelor’s in East Asian Studies). He has been experimenting since a young age with 1980s computer graphics, forging his own aesthetic influenced by minimalism, conceptual art, and skate culture.
