This is a 10-cent (10C) silver coin issued by South Africa in 1964, graded and sealed by NGC.
Issuer: Republic of South Africa (the inscription "SUID-AFRIKA" is Afrikaans for "South Africa")
Year: 1964 (clearly marked on the coin)
Face Value: 10 cents (10C)
Material: 50% silver (approximately 5.66 grams, 23.5 mm in diameter)
Obverse (Portrait): Depicts Jan van Riebeeck (an early colonist of the Dutch East India Company in South Africa), surrounded by the Afrikaans motto "EENDRAG MAAK MAG" (meaning "Unity is Strength").
Reverse (Design): The obverse features a female figure holding a scepter and wearing a cloak (symbolizing South Africa), with an anchor element below, along with the country's name in English ("SOUTH AFRICA") and Afrikaans ("SUID-AFRIKA"), and the denomination "10C".
