The DRB Class 01.10 is a series of 55 steam locomotives built for the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DRB), the German railway company, from 1937 to 1949.
The locomotive has the axle arrangement 2'C1', meaning two leading axles in a bogie, three powered and coupled axles, and a trailing axle in a bogie. The locos were equipped with the 5-axle unit tender T38 with the axle arrangement 2'3. The locomotives were capable of hauling a 550-ton train on flat tracks at 120 km/h and a 435-ton train at 4 per mille gradient at 100 km/h. Although designed for 140 km/h, in practice this was limited to 130 km/h or even 120 km/h.
