Description from the seller

Polished and smoothed shell with extreme care to reveal the hidden wonder: a vortex of mother-of-pearl with green, pink, and iridescent reflections that seem to hold within it the breath of the Tahitian sea.
Belonging to the species Turbo Marmoratus, a gastropod of tropical seas, this specimen has been selected for its exceptional quality and perfectly developed mother-of-pearl veins, visible thanks to a finishing process entirely handcrafted.
The spiral, so perfect that it seems a symbol carved by time, evokes the cyclicality of nature and the slow unfolding of marine energy. The basal area retains part of the original structure and offers a chromatic contrast with the blue-green of natural oxidations: an authentic signature of the ocean.
An object that transcends the simple shell: organic art, natural sculpture, mirror of the depths. Ideal as a collectible item, for cabinets of curiosities, spaces dedicated to design or meditation.
Every detail tells the story of a distant place and the time that patiently shaped it.

Seller's Story

The Mineral Art Gallery offers minerals, fossils, shells and natural elements. Born in Italy in 2017, today she collaborates with international galleries and collectors, she is a direct importer of large minerals and naturalistic collectible elements; deals with the processing to insert them inside the living space. A section of the gallery was dedicated to the Wunderkammer, "chamber of wonders or cabinet of curiosities" in which Mirabilia elements are presented: naturalia and italiania, a union between "the present is the past". All lots are shipped via DHL Express and Fercam couriers, with insured parcel and tracking.
