TRIGONOLITE representing the deity Y *ukahu.
The body fits into the triangular shape of the stone. The head dominates the composition with an open mouth and rough circular eyes that contrast with the finesse of the polish.
The back is adorned with complex geometric motifs with symbolic connotation.
Le Zémi, the main deity of the Taïno culture, protected the houses and brought prosperity to the inhabitants.
YUHAHU is the deity of the earth and cassava culture.
