Ornamental mosaic frieze fragment in Roman opus style. A magnificent handcrafted reproduction depicting the motif of Greek key patterns. Made with three colors—red, cream, and black—in limestone tesserae (calcium carbonate and lime mortar from Morón de la Frontera, Seville. Morón de la Frontera lime, UNESCO World Heritage Site, 2012) with masterful opus vermiculatum technique. Set on a wrought iron support, it features a beautiful fragment of pavement on a wrought iron base that evokes ancient Rome.
