Rodenstock Trinar 4.5 10.5 cm on a Prontor-S shutter with Asahi Pentax II bellows and M42-FX adapter; physical condition Good, functional condition tested and working.
Description from the seller
I am selling the very extensive photography collection of my late father. He was a passionate hobby photographer for 65 years and in recent years also experimented with alternative lenses on digital cameras. He would disassemble the lenses if necessary for cleaning or repair. I am not a photography expert myself, so I describe the lot as thoroughly as possible, including as many detailed photos as possible.
READ the information below and carefully examine the attached photos to avoid any misunderstandings.
I found many experimental bellows at my father's place, including this setup with the adapter on it. I assume it has been used.
Now I have checked the possibilities with chat.
In any case, the shutter works too; the different shutter speeds look and function differently, and with the red button at the bottom right, the self-timer also works.
thus includes the Bellows II from Asahi Pentax
Comes without a tripod and camera!
This is the info from chat get.
For sale: a Rodenstock Trinar 10.5 cm f/4.5 mounted in a Prontor-S shutter. A classic three-element triplet lens known for its characterful rendering and large image circle. Perfect for those who enjoy creatively working with bellows photography or vintage macro optics.
This Trinar comes from the era of folder and medium format cameras and performs remarkably well on a bellows. You can use it from macro (1:1 and beyond) to gentle close-ups with a beautiful vintage character. The lens provides a dreamy rendering, strong center sharpness, and a lovely analog feel, making it ideal for flowers, still lifes, and experimental photography.
The simple triplet construction creates a classic look with soft corners and a light glow in bellows photography, which is highly popular for creative macro shots. The larger image circle prevents vignetting at extreme positions, and tilt/shift effects are well achievable on bellows that are tiltable.
Note: Comes without camera!

Combined shipping of lots is possible, but only if they are won in the same auction. This is to save on shipping costs.
