Description from the seller
Frank Cornelissen’s Magma Rosso is the iconic, top-tier expression of Nerello Mascalese from ancient ungrafted vines in Contrada Barbabecchi on Mount Etna. Produced only in outstanding vintages and in extremely limited quantities, it is considered one of the most distinctive and sought-after natural wines of Italy.
Magma Rosso 2014
A highly celebrated vintage known for its depth and intensity. Aromas of wild strawberry, cherry, pomegranate, violets, dried herbs, blood orange, and pronounced volcanic minerality. The palate is precise, powerful, and vibrant, with ultra-fine tannins and a long, mineral-driven finish. Awarded 99 points by Ian D’Agata, it is regarded as one of the greatest Magma releases, with exceptional ageing potential.
Magma’s signature traits: intense aromatics, volcanic purity, crystalline fruit, and outstanding length.
The bottle is in excellent condition, stored in a temperature-controlled, dark, vibration-free environment to ensure perfect preservation.
A rare opportunity to experience an outstanding interpretation of Etna’s grand cru potential from one of the world’s most celebrated natural winemakers.
